About ATS

Atlantic Transportations Systems is a traffic signal maintenance and installation company located in Camp Hill, PA.  It is designed to perform transportation related services, which include installation and maintenance of traffic signal intersections to municipalities in Pennsylvania, Delaware and Maryland.

 

  • Installation, replacement, and maintenance of traffic signals
  • Pedestrian signals and push button detectors, controllers and cabinets
  • LEDs (Lighting Emitting Diodes)
  • Video detection, and flashing beacons and variable message signs
  • Traffic monitoring systems, and school flashers are the main source of income.

 

Emphasize in the future is on existing intersection modifications due to development and increased traffic flow.  Existing traffic signals have a life span of twenty years, 74% of the existing contractual traffic signals are at the age limit, requiring equipment upgrades.

 

Atlantic Transportation Systems, Inc is headed by Evangelina Cerventes and Patricia Langan with support by Samuel E. Garman.  Both women are certified as a Work Zone Safety Specialist and a Traffic Signal Technician Level I.  Sam Garman is certified as a Traffic Signal I (since 1988), Traffic Signal II (since 1989), Signs & Marking Level I & II (since 1996), Traffic Signal III (since 1996), and Traffic Signal Inspector (since 2005).  All parties above are certified by the International Municipal Signal Association (IMSA).

Location- Atlantic Transportation Systems, Inc. is located in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania.  It only takes minutes to get to I-81, I-83, Rt. 15, Rt. 11 and the PA Turnpike.  The office location is truly in the heart of increasing business and housing development.  With the close proximity of these major highways it will take 35 minutes to get into Maryland, 4 hours into New York, 2 hours into Virginia, and 2 hours into New Jersey and Delaware.

 

Office hours- Monday through Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. In case of emergencies there will be a staff member on call after office hours, including holidays and weekends, year-round.  Clients with contracts will have the direct on-call phone number.  Call us at (717) 254-6795
